Is this system small enough to fit my media center?
The enclosure only stands 3.9" tall. Also, the ability to mount it both vertically and horizontally gives you even more flexibility to work around your space.
Does it offer support for Bluray?
Bluray is supported, however, if you plan on playing Bluray disks, you need a Bluray ROM. Downloaded Bluray/HD content can still be played without trouble. We can customise your order to support playback of Bluray disks. Please call us for more information.
How is it even possible to play Bluray movies without a Bluray player?
Bluray itself is only a storage technology. It does not add visual improvements over HD-DVD, or internet HD content. The fact that DVD's can't store a full length movie in HD makes them impractical compared to Bluray, which stores 10 times the data. Regular DVD's can also store Bluray content, except that you'll need at least 3 DVD's for a single 1080p movie.
Does it support true HDMI out?
This system is fully 1080p compliant (1920x1080 pixels + HD-audio). Resolution can be downscaled to 720p for older displays.
Are there any other video modes supported?
Virtually all video modes are supported including 1080p/i, 720p/i, 480p, DVI-WXGA, VGA, Component and S-Video.
Can I also hook it up to my overhead projector display?
Easy.
How come I not see component video and S-video ports on the back of the system?
A converter adapter is required. It converts VGA output to either RGB, or S-video. The adapter costs ~$15. Video quality is not affected.
Is there a coxial audio output?
There is no coxial output, only Optical SPDIF for modern sound systems. Or, use the standard mini-jacks configuration.
Will I be able to record live TV shows?
Check system specification. If a TV tuner is already included, you can record, and watch TV, else, please upgrade your system accordingly.
I want to set up dual-tuners so I can record two shows at the same time, is this even possible?
Only the P2, and PX media centers support this feature.
How will I get it to receive subscription programming on my system?
Connect your set-top box to your system's TV tuner (if there is one, please upgrade accordingly)
Do you offer a universal remote controller?
P2, and PX media centers come with their own remote controller package. For P1, a seperate purchase is required. Please call us for more details.
Can I do video gaming on my media center?
Just like you do on a PC, your media center is no different.
Do I get both Wireless and Wired internet connectivity?
Yes.
